Trump Victorious In Iowa By A LANDSLIDE!
Over the past week, Iowa residents endured a historic blizzard that brought sub-zero temperatures and heavy snowfall. Despite these harsh conditions, many residents braved the elements to participate in the caucus to pick the next presidential nominee for the Republican Party on Monday.
In what can be considered as equally historic and unprecedented as the blizzard that pounded Iowa, President Donald Trump achieved a landslide victory among the caucus-goers. As the results came in, it became clear that none of the other candidates would come close to challenging the incumbent president.
With a strong win, tallying more than half the vote for Trump in Iowa, he has bolstered his argument that he is the only Republican candidate capable of defeating Democratic President Joe Biden in the November election.
Every contender challenging the America First president suffered a horrific turnout that will leave many questioning whether or not they will continue campaigning at all.
While votes are still coming in, Ron DeSantis, who invested heavily in Iowa’s caucus by campaigning across all 99 counties, appears to have placed second only marginally next to Nikki Haley.
“This is showtime. This is what we’ve been waiting for,” said Haley to her supporters mere hours before the caucus officially began, later placing third.
Vivek Ramaswamy, who claimed only a small percentage of the caucus, is believed to have bungled his Trump 2.0 claim to fame by posting a photo with Iowa caucus-goers wearing t-shirts saying ‘Save Trump, Vote Vivek.’
With DeSantis and Haley trailing Trump in the state of New Hampshire as well, another Trump victory is shaping up as the days grow closer to a primary in the “Live Free or Die” state.
Both Haley and DeSantis have expressed the same amount of confidence leading into New Hampshire as they did going into Iowa, suggesting that if the mood of the residents in New Hampshire is anything like that of those in Iowa, it’s shaping up to be another disastrous loss for the anti-Trump coalition.
